Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safaris
Trek to mountain gorillas in the Virunga volcanoes, a short transfer from Kigali.
Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park lies in the Virunga mountains in the north-west of the country, about two hours from Kigali. Treks start from the park headquarters, and the park has several gorilla families as well as golden monkeys.
Many travellers combine Rwanda and Uganda on one trip, doing gorillas in both countries or choosing the one that suits their time, budget and style. We plan Rwanda trips to order, and combined itineraries are available on request.
