Uganda Wildlife Safaris
Game drives, boat cruises and bush walks in Uganda's savannah parks, from the thundering Murchison Falls to the tree-climbing lions of Ishasha.
Uganda packs a remarkable variety of landscapes into a small country: open savannah, wetlands, crater lakes, rainforest and the River Nile. That makes it one of the most rewarding countries in Africa for a mixed wildlife safari, and its parks are quieter than many better-known destinations.
A classic route links Murchison Falls in the north with Queen Elizabeth in the west, and Lake Mburo on the road back to Kampala, with gorillas or chimpanzees in the forests between. We design the order and pace around your time and your interests.

Best Time To Go
Dry seasons run from December to February and June to September: easiest trails and best game viewing. March to May and October to November are wetter, greener and quieter.
How We Plan It
We choose parks that fit your time, not the longest list.
We place long drives sensibly and add stops that make them part of the trip.
We can add rhino tracking at Ziwa Sanctuary, rafting at Jinja and the Equator on the way.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see the Big Five in Uganda?
Lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo live in Uganda's savannah parks, and rhinos can be tracked on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
What is the best time for a wildlife safari?
The dry seasons, roughly December to February and June to September, are easiest for game viewing.
How many days do I need?
Four to seven days covers one or two parks well. A ten to fifteen day trip lets you combine savannah, forest and the Nile.
Are the roads good?
Main roads are generally fine, and park roads are rougher. We use 4x4 safari vehicles driven by experienced guides.
