Rwenzori Mountains Climbing Safaris
Trek through giant heather and moss forests to glaciated peaks on the legendary Mountains of the Moon.
The Rwenzori Mountains rise on the border of Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo and include some of the highest peaks in Africa. They are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with snow-capped summits, glacial lakes and strange, giant alpine plants.
Trekking here is demanding and remote. Our Central Circuit trips take six to nine days on foot with guides and porters, sleeping in mountain huts, and may include the summits of Mount Stanley, Mount Speke and Mount Baker, depending on route and conditions.
